Medium Rigid (MR) is a vehicle with a GVM more than 8t with a 2-axle limit.  This includes buses, trucks and tractors.

Heavy Rigid (HR)

Heavy Rigid (HR) is a vehicle with a GVM more than 8t but with more than 2 axles.  This once again includes trucks, buses and articulated buses.
